The seminar, Talent and Hi-Pos Management: A Cross Generation Management Perspective was presented by renowned lecturer, Dr Lee Karling. Dr Karling is a well known international Human Capital and HR trainer, specializing on the cross-generation perspective. Dr. Karling is a senior member of the EDS business faculty, and a certified coach and mentor for Certified Talent Manager and Certified Human Resource Professional programs with Global Institute of Strategic Management.
The training program was officially initiated by Honorable Dr. Ricardo A. Wagan, President of Laguna State Polytechnic University. Prof. Olivia P. Magpily, Vice President for Academic Affairs, delivered the opening statement and a solid rational for the program.
The five day EDS program, attended by more than sixty Laguna State faculty members from across the four campuses, focused upon the following areas of specialization:
Day 1: Talent and Hi-Pos (High Potential) Management: A Cross Generation Perspective
Day 2: Strategic Talent Acquisition: From Planning to Execution
Day 3: Reward System for Talents and Hi-Pos
Day 4: Talent Retention Strategies: A Multiple Perspective Approach
Day 5: Hi-Pos Development and Career Planning
This program is recognized by GISM and upon completion of the five-day workshop, participants may make application to earn the GISM Certified Talent Manager certification.
