Tree Planting Commemorates Beginning of New Collaboration Between EDS Business School and Laguna State Polytechnic University

Honorable President Dr. Ricardo A Wagan has made it a tradition to host a tree planting ceremony to commemorate the inception of meaningful new ventures at his beautiful Laguna State Polytechnic University in the Philippines. Under Dr. Wagan’s leadership, Laguna State has become the model for the clean environment and the “green” campus, practicing what is taught to his students in a very visible manner. Dignitaries, traveling professors, and VIPs who visit Laguna State are in fact honored as visitors with a tree planting bearing their name.

Upon the inauguration of the Talent and Hi-Pos Management: A Cross Generation Management Perspective, on 20 Jan 2010, .honorable Dr Ricardo A. Wagan, LSPU University President hosted a tree planning including: himself, Dr Ben Lee, President and Founder of EDS Business School, and Dr Lee Karling, EDS senior faculty member and GISM certified coach and mentor for Certified Talent Manager.

EDS is privileged indeed, as a tree planting is a fitting tribute to commemorate and honor this momentous occasion. EDS Business School is honored by the tree planting ceremony upon launching the Talent and Hi-Pos Management Program via cross-border partnership with Laguna State. The action of President Wagan symbolizes a new beginning, and as the three trees grow, as they come from the earth and replenish the environment, they also shall symbolize a long-standing relationship, one which will grow and mature over time. Such a fabulous idea to commemorate our visit there and our commitment to Laguna State for the future. It really says so much;. It is a beautiful way of starting.
