Dr. Lee was also cited for extensive EDS tuition free international residential studies in Penang since 2002. Dr. Lee was recognized for conduct of extensive leadership training on public university campus in Philippines and Vietnam; and continuous capacity building for Philippines faculty, where EDS has provided very low tuition fee for the MBA and DBA program. Dr. Lee was also cited for excellence of his EDS initiatives in community service projects in Malaysia, Vietnam, and Chengdu, China.

Dr. Capogrossi earned his Ph.D. in Adult and Continuing Education from Cornell University, where he completed an extensive dissertation investigating the effectiveness of the American education system.

Dr. Binag is President Emeritus of Sultan Kudarat State University, Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat, Philippines. He is Past Chairman of Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) and current President of International Distance Education Accreditation League (IDEAL), Philippines.

He served as lecturer at EDS Business School, Malaysia; and MBA lecturer at University of Southern Queensland; University of Sunshine Coast; University of Nottingham Trend, UNITAR, USM and University of Midwest Missouri. Presented by Prof. Sue Lim
Associate Professor Sue Lim has more than 25 years of human resources management, general management and training experience, more than half of which is of regional senior managerial role with well-known MNCs. Her final corporate job was with a local conglomerate as the Group Vice-President for Human Resources. The job entailed having regional human resources responsibilities.
She has trained extensively on HR related courses such as areas in recruitment, performance management, human resources developments, industrial relations and management development program. With her extensive knowledge and exposure to changes within the labor market Sue Lim takes a proactive approach to helping companies anticipate and manage their place in the future world of employment.

Eight Universities and Schools Agree to Collaborate

During 3-5 July 2010, leaders from eight schools and universities spanning six countries, gathered in Penang, Malaysia for the Third International University Leadership Colloquium. To the delight of all present, the educational leaders signed an agreement signaling intent to undertake educational affiliations. Unanimously, the leaders from all eight universities and schools accepted one another as educational institutions of equivalent quality and integrity and jointly agreed to pursue educational affiliations, starting with student exchange programs and collaborative faculty activities.

EDS Business School has been selected as co-organizer with HM Training House for the Achieving Excellence through KPI and Performance Management Conference on 17 and 18 July 2010 at Paradise Sandy Beach Resort, Penang, Malaysia.

More than 180 participants attended the conference. Six successful entrepreneurs, industrial experts and consultants from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia presented their talk and share their view at the conference.

Signing GISM and MDTC Memorandum of Understanding

On 7 July 2010, Dr. Ben Lee, President of Global Institute of Strategic Management, USA, and, Martin Nguyen, Director, Mekong Delta Training Corporation, Vietnam, enter into a memorandum of understanding for GISM recognition of the Mekong Delta Training Corporation (MDTC) Mini-MBA program, and the award of the GISM certificate for training completion. The non-credit GISM Mini MBA training program provides management professionals and high-level administrators, a solid combination of modern management knowledge and an understanding of American governance practices in Vietnam. GISM has invited EDS Business School to participant with Mekong Delta Training Corporation in the conduct of the Mini-MBA (non-credit) Program.

While GISM does not award college credit for its programs, many universities have accepted GISM certificates and program completions as eligible for admissions to their business programs and transfer credit.

International Distance Education Accreditation League Inc. (IDEAL) was conceived by well-recognized and respected educational leaders from the Philippines, Malaysia, Macedonia, Bangladesh and the United States of America. After a meeting of minds the educational leader formulated on November 6, 2009 at Penang, Malaysia during the EDS Asia Pacific International University Leadership Colloquium the Declaration of Founding of the IDEAL, Inc. The founding document was signed on November 8, 2009 by its 10 founding directors with the intent to add one director to make it eleven.

In order to be granted its juridical personality, the IDEAL, Inc was registered on the 5th of February 2010 at the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission at its Davao Extension office, Philippines in accordance with the corporation Code of the Philippines upon the presentation of the IDEAL's Articles of Incorporation and By-laws.

Based on its vision, the IDEAL, Inc shall "assure the highest standards of educational excellence and institutional integrity for international distance education and cross-border instutions of higher education and training. Its mission states that it shall delineate and establish standards and procedures for educational quality and institutional integrity, shall advance international networking and friendship among its membership, promote affiliations, partnership and joint ventures, and shall recognize and honor excellence among distance learning and cross-border educators and educational leaders".

With this IDEAL System of Operations in Distance Education Institutional Audit, it is hope that distance education throughout the world shall be of eminence and excellence, applicability and accountability, entree equity as well as efficiency and effectiveness.
