We are so proud to officially announce the schedule for our EDS Business School 2012 Graduation Ceremony to he held at Vistana Hotel, Penang, Malaysia, on Monday, 12 March 2012. This grand convocation will be celebrated in conjunction with the EDS Business School 10 Years Anniversary.

Over the past ten years, the triumphant journey of EDS Business School has been both challenging and encouraging. Since 2002, EDS rapidly became the premier training and executive development agency in the Asia-Pacific Region, satisfying a rapidly growing demand for skills development training among academia, business leaders, professionals, engineers, and executives.

EDS has initiated formal training associations with universities and colleges in the Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macedonia, Ghana and the USA. Further, EDS served as the catalyst in the establishment of an international open learning consortium in the Philippines, bringing higher learning institutions into cooperation, expanding access to educational opportunities, providing for capacity-building, and upgrading university and college teaching faculties toward earning higher academic qualifications. /

While development and expansion has not been an easy task, we are proud of our excellence in executive training and global networking. Our diverse recognition and numerous awards received have provided the motivation necessary to catapult us to greater achievements.

International Educational Leadership Conference in Saigon, Vietnam

EDS Business School has successfully organized the INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE in Saigon, Vietnam

EDS Business School, under the leadership of Dr. Ben Lee experienced a great success in the conduct of the International Leadership Training Conference delivered in collaboration with Philippines Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) and Akamai
University on 23 – 27 September 2011 at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

More than 80 university leaders from Philippines were in attendance, including 24 University Presidents,12 Vice Presidents along with numerous deans and campus directors. Two current members of the Commission of Higher Education (CHED), Philippines; Honorable Nona Ricafort and Honorable Luningning Misuarez-Umar graced the audience with presentations about the challenges and future of higher education in the Philippines.

Dr. Ben Lee, President and Founder of EDS Business School was in attendance and presented Opening and Closing Remarks.

Dr. Serafin Ngohayon, dynamic PASUC Chairman provided outstanding leadership and motivation among the participants. Dr. Premkumar Rajagopal delivered a world class three-day training seminar on application of principles ans practices of supply chain management to the challenges of educational leadership in higher education. He was well received by his audience of top university leaders. Dr. Premkumar demonstrated clearly why he is viewed as
Asia’s Supply Chain guru.

Dr. Douglass Capogrossi, Akamai University President was in attendance and presented the Opening and Closing Remarks. Dr. Capogrossi presently serves as Trustee with the
Philippines’ National Network of Quality Assurance Agencies (NNQAA).

EDS BUSINESS SCHOOL has achieved another International Award in Dubai, UAE.

On 25 September 2011 the World Education Congress Asia Awards has honored EDS Business School with a special award as the Educational institute with the Best Academic and Industry Interface. This is one further validation that the business programs offer and conducted by EDS Business School are viewed as highly industry relevant. This is the reason so many of EDS graduates achieve career success. Many EDS alumni have been promoted to higher positions, even before completing their MBA diploma.

The Akamai MBA in HRM Program has been carefully designed to be convenient, relevant and to build upon the student’s past work experience and current professional pursuits. It provides a choice of learning approaches to suit the student and his employer.

Rather than interrupting a student’s career, this MBA in HRM Program is designed to enhance it by providing greater knowledge and understanding, new skills and qualifications, fully engaged with their current professional pursuits. Students are guided in conducting employment related scholarly research for the purpose of improving business systems and strategies. This is a highly cost effective way to gain new insights and skills, the latest information and competencies, and valuable qualifications.

- Bachelor Degree or equivalent professional qualification with two years of working experience,
- In lieu of the Bachelor’s degree, applicants will be considered with a recognized Business Diploma (Associate Degree) and a minimum of five years of working experience. Such applicants will be required to submit appropriate letters of recommendation verifying they have the necessary capability and motivation to successfully complete the program within the allotted time span. Applicants accepted in the absence of the Bachelor's degree will be required by the University to add missing elements to the minimum program, as a condition for admission.
- English ability equivalent TOEFL 500 points.

Minimum Duration: 12 months

The minimum program requirement for a MBA-HRM Degree is 40 credits beyond the Bachelor degree, including the comprehensive review, and thesis project activities. Further, the participant MUST complete that modules that reflect the major concentration in Human Resource Management. Students are required to attend all of the tutorial seminars and successfully completed all the coursework assignments with cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, as outlined below:

The MBA in HRM tuition fee is US$6,900 on full payment upon registration; and it is US$7,300 if paid by two installments. Students who opt for the two-payment plan must make their second payment of the balance in full before attending the 2nd residential studies in Penang, Malaysia.

Core Modules – Residential Fees
For the Core Modules participants required to attend two residential studies in Penang, Malaysia. Each residential session consist of 6 days of studies and 1 day of field studies. The fee for each residential is USD690 for twin-sharing accommodation and USD860 for single occupancy accommodation.

Specialization Modules – Residential Fees
For the Specialization Modules participants required to attend one residential study in Penang, Malaysia. Each residential session consist of 6 days of studies and 1 day of field studies. The fee for each residential is USD690 for twin-sharing accommodation and USD860 for single occupancy accommodation.
