A Testimonial to EDS Business School by Prof. Datu Dr. Nelso T. Binag, the President of International Distance Education Accreditation League (IDEAL)

A TESTIMONIAL TO EDS BUSINESS SCHOOL
By Professor Datu Dr. Nelso T. Binag, the President of International Distance Education Accreditation League (IDEAL)

Yours truly is Prof. Datu Dr. Nelson Binag y Torres from Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat, Mindanao, Philippines, the Founding President and CEO of a international accrediting body in distance learning and cross-border education, the International Distance Education Accreditation League, Inc. with an acronym IDEAL, whose Main Office is located at Tacurong City, Philippines.

At the outset, may I extend my heartfelt congratulations and deep appreciation to the awardees and graduands for the great opportunity to openly express my views about the EDS Business School in conjunction with its 10th Year Anniversary Celebration as well as Awarding and Graduation Ceremonies.

I must be clear, direct and concise in my testimony about the EDS Business School, less I might state more than I should testify, considering that the distinguished audience in this particular affair come from many countries with different persuasions and cultures. I came to know about EDS Business School sometimes in the year 2008 during an International Leadership Colloquium where Presidents and key officials of Universities and Colleges throughout the world were invited and in attendance in connection with its quarterly offering of its Professional Residential Studies leading to Master's and Doctorate Degrees in Business Administration and PhD in Management in collaboration with the Akamai University, Hilo, Hawaii, USA; Euro College University Studies, Macedonia; as well as the Ifugao State University in Ifugao, Philippines.

I keenly observed and profoundly found that the EDS Business School is very adept and so highly professional in bringing together in one place or group respected global leaders in the academe. Such great gathering successfully produced, as a result, international tie-ups in distance learning and cross-border education between and among colleges and universities in pursuit of quality assurance and excellence in international education not only in the continents of Asia, but also, the continents of America, Europe, Africa, Australia, India as well as the Middle East.

The EDS Business School's Professional Residential Studies are relentlessly pursued with all the organized efforts of its very high caliber faculty members as well as the deeply dedicated and well committed administrative staffs. Its faculty members are no doubt world class in academic reputation considering that they are also actually in international business and academic enterprises. They are professors in their respective universities and holding leadership positions. While its administrative staffs perform with great gusto their assigned duties and responsibilities to the best of abilities with all the respect and humility to their clientele.

Under the sterling leadership of its President, Prof. Datu Dr. Ben Lee, whose administration and governance are beyond reproach and of remarkable quality and excellence, the academic business and management programs have gained high respect and wide acceptance from their academic clientele through distance learning and cross-border education. With this present scenario, President Ben Lee has expanded the reach of his education programs in time and space, widening every nation’s capacity that he is in tie-up with, to educate its people. Known for his marketing skills and knowledge, Pres. Ben Lee usually provides value-adding strategies and innovations through the years in running the affairs of the EDS Business School. With his aptitude in business administration and management, the EDS Business School will soar to greater altitude and be catapulted as one of the best business school in Asia if not the whole world. It is but proper and fitting that the word “International” should be added in its trade name, so it will be known as EDS International Business School, since it is now really what it actually is!

Mabuhay EDS “International” Business School! May it have more success based on its mission, vision, goals, objectives and strategies as a global business school. God bless!

Professor Datu Dr. Nelso T. Binag,
President, International Distance Education Accreditation League (IDEAL)
President Emeritus, Sultan Kudarat State University, Philippines

Testimonial by Dr. Ljubisa Petrusevski, President of Euro College, Kumanovo, Macedonia

Testimonial by Dr. Ljubisa Petrusevski, President of Euro College, Kumanovo, Macedonia with regard to EDS Business School 10th Anniversary Celebration

Dr Ljubisa Petrusevski given a speech at the EDS 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner Celebration on 12 March 2012 at Vistana Hotel, Penang, Malaysia.

To be part of some of the EDS ceremony is pleasure in itself and also a deep honor. So many things are initiated and so many new friends are met during these few unforgettable warm and wet days in Penang.

As someone coming out of Europe it is amazing to witness the unbreakable spirit and vigor of the EDS team and their warmth and hospitality. And I always ask myself why Asian students should waste their valuable time and resources to go and study in Europe and USA when they have the quality education at their door step.

Dr Ljubisa Petrusevski attending the EDS International Residential Studies Session on 18 – 24, July 2009 at B-Suite Hotel, Penang, Malaysia.

At the center of circumference it is the figure of Dr. Ben Lee that started this unique tradition 10 years ago. Probably even in his wildest dreams he could not foresee the impact that EDS would have for the global education in its first decade of operations.

EDS Tibetan MBA students of Akamai University present the traditional Tibetan khata scarf to honor Dr Ljubisa as a symbol of respect for his outstanding standing educational leadership and conspicuous contributions to higher education.

Here we are now gathered to celebrate the vision and courage of one man and the few others that followed suit. EDS was a pioneer in a somehow isolated environment but now it is supported by many friends from all around the world and is an inspiration for many new Malaysian schools, some of them run by their former students.

I was especially privileged to be the Guest of Honor at the closing ceremony and that is something I will always cherish in my mind. Thank you EDS!

Looking forward for your 20th birthday.

Warmest regards,

Dr. Ljubisa Petrusevski
President
EURO COLLEGE
Kumanovo, Macedonia
